Sorry, but it seems to be taking longer than expected to get the scripts in decent order. Only problem left is error checks and the such.
I haven't looked at the pageviews for the blog, so if you are interested in these stats, please leave a comment.

Fantasy Football Stats Coming Soon
Ever want to code your own fantasy predictor for next season? So have I.
If you're like me, you hit the brick wall right about the point you went looking for the stats for all the players from previous seasons. For some reason the NFL doesn't want a database of previous season stats available for public consumption. Some theorize that the league wants to monetize the release of the information. Others say it is because of their relationship with STATS Inc., who has a virtual monopoly on the football stats business.
Whatever the reason, I don't care. I want the stats and I am willing to waste many hours trying to get them. Actually, I already have.
Pretty soon, I will post what I have here. Hopefully, anybody who stumbles on this blog can use them. And don't worry DIYers, I will be posting the PHP scripts that I have used to get them, so you won't have to start at zero like I did.
